Background

I think its time for me to change the background of my blog. I am boring with it already, although Paris is a beautiful city. But, but I will change it when I back to Malaysia I think. I am not lazy to change it, just dont want to waste a lot of time in front of the computer and searching for the background I want.

Chritsmas

Its a celebration that I am not used to celebrate.Until now, included this year Christmas, I only celebrated it twice. 2007 in Italy and this year. I like this celebration very much. Although it was a little bid stress with buying presents, but received presents replace all the stress with happiness. I felt quite warm actually when I received presents from my host family. I received a beer openner from my host sister, a small bottle of vodka from my host brother, a year magazine from my host mother, a sweater and an ice-wine from my host family. In short, I love to receive presents than preparing presents. xD

I am going to Austria for snowboarding with my host family from tomorrow until the 2nd of January.I hope that my ass will still alive after that, haha. And then,I will go to Hamburg from 4th of January until 8th of January. I am looking forward to these tide and pack holidays as these will be the last for me to do some visiting.

23.12.2010

Today was a day that I dont hope to forget. As I wished, I get to met and played tennis with Nadine. She came to pick me up at about 12.30p.m., and then we went to have lunch in Mobel Martin. At first, I thought she would bring along her friends to play tennis with us as only 2ppl should be quite boring. But then she told me she bring along her brothers =). Its actually better because I may not know her friends, but her 2brothers, I knew them already. Although not very long since the first day that I met both her brothers, but we had a lot to chat and its like I knew this 2guys since long ago. From the second that she told me she bring her brothers along, my mood changed from already very excited to a mood that somehow I dont know how to describe. I really dont know how to describe it. I just knew that, more than 200% that this day's outing with Nadine and her brothers would be a great and funny day I dont hope to forget.

Mobel Martin is a furniture shop, and I dont know at the top of Mobel Martin is a buffet, and the youngest brother from Nadine, Alexandra choose a beautiful blick from the window of the Mosel river. I had only a sandwish for lunch, but it was full enough.

After that, we went directly to the sport centre to play tennis. As I expected, I had a lot of fun with Nadine and her brothers. At first, Nadine only booked the court for 1hour. But,what I dont expected was, that I have more fun then I expected. After 1hour, we decided to play for 1more hour as I really have a lot a lot a lot of fun with them. I think I will continue to play tennis when I back to Malaysia. Thank you Schartzs. Haha

Later, I went with them to their house. I think I only met saw their dad once(with shaking hands) many times(in newspaper). And her mum, I think 2times. Their parents are as nice and as friendly as their children. I think maybe because of the parents are so friendly, so their children are also like them, pollite, nice, friendly.... I had dinner with them in their beautiful house. Their house is really wonderful. And, not forget to say about the beautiful and amazing decoration under their Christmas tree. Their dad found a technique to make the water flow like the real water flow in river. Its totally amazing as it was made by himself. Congratulations =). What I like about their family, is the way they disscussed something, especially the brothers. When we had lunch, they told/ask me some questions about Malaysia. Some of the facts that they told were quite shocking me. I dont know they 2 made some researches at home just purposely for today's meeting or they want to know it not because want to make me think that they 2 know quite well about Malaysia. If you 2 knew it not purposely for today meeting, then I would say, both of you 2's knowledges about Malaysia were the best that I had ever heard among the teenagers of your age in Germany, and even better than some teenagers of your age in Malaysia. Oh ya, their mum then gave me a chocolate bar, a huge chocolate bar as a Christmas present, and then a Christmas card for me to family Gajan. My dad asked me to buy a Christmas card for family Gajan as he forget to send 1.

In short, I just wana say Familie Schartz bring a lot of happiness to me. You all are the second family after family Gajan, my host family in Germany, whom are really like my natural family in Malaysia. I felt really like home in Schartz house. Thank you, I love you all, Familie Schartz. and I hope you 6 stay healthy always. For Nadine, I hope that you will do well in your Abitur(like spm in Malaysia) and I wish that today would not be the last time we met before I go back to Malayia. And I hope you manage to get Indonesia or Malaysia as your social work with AFS, then we can meet each other again. Oh gosh, I started to miss you again....

Christmas time

Christmas is coming!!! But I dont like 1 thing about Christmas, only 1. The super and greatest of all time, that 1. To buy present. I think the last time I bought a present was in 2007, for my family when I was in Italy. Those are consider as souvenirs ba. So the last time I bought a present, for a birthday gal/boy, I think its when I was 7/8 years old. I think la. I was quite shock when I think when was the last time I bought a present for someone. Normally,  I just share it with others of my friend. So my job were just gave money, and those who responsible bought it.  And now, I salute those who always bought present. Its not eassy, for me to think what should I give to them as present. xD. I need to buy present for my host family and for my Wichtel. And I already thought about what should I bought as presents for them for a very very long time. This is what I dont like about Christmas, haha.

Its raining now. I hope snow comes more, and we will have 'White Christmas'. We have quite a lot of snow now, but it rained today and my host mum told me tomorrow is going to rain too. =S When it rainned, the snow melt, and we only have ice, not snow. I hope it snow on Christmas day, as it was my childhood dream to celebrate Christmas with snow falls from the sky! But I hope the road condition will be OK on Thursday as I want to hang out with Nadine *deadly*. Please be kind to me, I miss her very very very very much.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Monday:
Manchester United won! Manchester United won! Yeah, I know its abit late to post this news, but late is better than never right? =) It was a match of Manchester United vs Arsenal. The score is 1-0. Who is the hero? Park Ji-Sung. He is a Korean who plays for Manchester United. Although he is not my favourite player, but I love to watch him played. Especially when he scored a goal. So now, Man Utd top the premier league table with a game in hand. Next match, vs Chelsea. Hoping for Man Utd to beat Lusheng's supported team. xD

Tuesday:
I went to Paris for a 1day trip. I would not be a day to forget for me. My trip started at 5.20a.m., when I woke up. After having my bath, brushing my tooth and having my dinner, my host mum brought me to Konz train station. My trains were from Konz to Saarbrücken, and then from Saarbrücken to Paris L'EST. In Saarbrücken, I met Estiban, also a student exchange like me in Germany. He comes from Costa Rica. We dont know we would go to Paris on the same day. Its shock for both of us to see each other in Saarbrücken main train station, and both of us want to go to Paris. He had his host aunt as tour guide, so I joined them too, as travel alone is quite boring. We reached Paris L'EST at about 10a.m.. Just moving out from the train station, I could felt another type of atmosphere and environment. Its PARIS! It is so beautiful and totally amazing. I dont know how to explain it by words. I could not believe I was in Paris and this type of 'unbelievable feeling' was really unexplainable. This city really lived up to the biling point as the city of love. Its so beautiful and even the streets, the lamp post, the people, the language, everything were so cooool and beautiful(for me). The first destination is Basilique du Sacré-Cœur, we walked to the church. It stand on a hill, and from there, one can view a wonderful blick from Paris. Then, we took a Metro to   Eiffelturmes, one of the most famous landmark in the word. After that, we took a Metro to Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel. and then we walked down one of the most famous and the most expensive street in Paris,  Champs-Élysées. Next, we walked to Musée du Louvre, where Mona Lisa is placed in the museum. But unfortunately, it was closed on Tuesday. Even it was openned on Sunday, I may need 1day to view this museum as it is very very huge. Nest destination was  Kathedrale Notre Dame de Paris, and then to the town hall of Paris,Hôtel de Ville, and next to Centre Georges Pompidou. After that, I walked to the train station alone as my train leaved at 5.09p.m.. Overall, Paris is too big for a 1day trip. It was so stressed as I walked a lot around Paris as I wanted to see a lot in 1day. And at last, I had joint pain on both of my leg, but it was worth. =)

Same thing, I needed to change my train in Saarbrücken. I passed my train in Saarbrücken, but I met 2 friendly and funny guys. I saw them too in the morning train. They were also going to Paris as I did, but for difference proposes. I was going for sight-seeing and they were going for business. And when we met, one of them asked me, did you miss the train too? And I said yes. I cant believe how eassy it was for a chat in Germany probably in Europe too. I mean, in Malaysia, no one will talk to you like this, and offer you a ciggarette(of course, I dont smoke). As we needed to wait for an hour and as it was so cold, they invited me for a glass of beer in a pub. We have a little chat during that 1hour of waiting. They were very funny. Haha.

9.30p.m., I reached home. It was very tired as I walked almost the whole day. My host mum asked me how was it, and I told her my experience as I told my natural mum. I am glad that I have someone to tell my story. =)

Overall, I just want to say. I am going to come back to Paris again for sure if I have the chance to come to Europe again. Paris is a must destination for Europe trip. =)

Wednesday:
I went to buy a Christmas tree with my host mum. It was a brand new experience for me indeed. First time saw how people bought Christmas tree. Cut it down, wrapped it with duno-what-plastic, and then transported it to the car. We havent decorate the Christmas tree yet as its still a litte bid early. It still lying outside at the garden. Poor tree, as outside was cold, haha. But bo bien, its so high, about 3m long. haha

Thursday:
Today school was as normal as usual until the 3rd lesson. When we had sport lesson, the director from our school entered the sport hall, and told us that we can go back to our home after the 4th lesson because of snow. It was reported that snow would came, and affected the road, so we were allowed to go back earlier. But I didnt go back. In fact, I went to a friend's house. Before that, we went to a supermarket and bought some beer xD. I went to home only after 2.00p.m.. But the snow did not come so early actually, haha..

Sunday 12 December 2010

0-0

I watched a football game live in stadium just now. It was FC Kaiserslautan vs Wolfsburg. The atmosphere was better than the atmosphere when I watched the bayern games. I think maybe its because the stadium is smaller, so you can hear the cheering of the fans clearer and louder than in Allianz Arena. But, the match was a little bid boring for me as the score ended 0-0. Without a single goal, its consider as boring to me. It was very+super+ultra cool. Lasse and me were shiverring when we watched the match. We cant concentrated on the game as it was very very cool. I think it was at minus temperature just now, and with cool wind, it made us cooler.

What am I going to do tomorrow? My host mum gonna call the people up-hill to ask about the snow condition where Sophia and me went for snow board last Sonday. As the temperature were a little bid higher suring the past few days, the snow had melt. So my host mum gonna ask about the snow up there. If there are still snow up there, we will go to snow boarding again. I hope jadi la, as I dont have any programm tomorrow. =)

Saturday 11 December 2010

Finally

I bought the ticket to Paris at last. Finally, I am going to Paris on Tuesday and I cant wait for the day to come. I will leave from Konz(a town near where I lived) quite early in the morning. Paris is one of the most important and one of the most beautiful town in the world, but I am only available to do a 1day trip. Dont even say 1day, I think 5days are still not enough to visit and discover every corner places of interest in Paris. Although its very short, but its better than nothing. =) (my only way to an1 wei4 myself, haha)

Friday 10 December 2010

Playing With Snow is Fun :)

Today last period was the funniest and coolest of the whole day. As usual, the Geography teacher came late. Before he came, I was going with Richard and Klements to Backerei to buy something. When we back, Mia, Min Yong and Laura were playing with snow. I joined them  for a few minutes and then I went to the classroom as it was freaking cold for me. Then, the teacher arrived. Someone asked him, can we have our lesson outside with snow? Of course, he said no. But, he said we can play with snow for 5minutes. Guess what, everyone from my class ran out from the classroom and played outside for 5minutes. =D With snow balls flying in the air. Its very very cool and funny. Hahaha. I hope it keep on snowing, and we can play again tomorrow. Every student love snow. =)

Schnee macht Spaß.. xD

What A Shock For me !!!

When I was shopping in Galerie Trier today evening, I was shock.. Really Shock!!! I wanted to buy something. I already pick it up from where it should be. Then I reached for my wallet and openned it. Guess what, My wallet was empty. No bank note(s), no a single one, only some coins. Then I put it back, and walked out from the shop and kept thinking. Did someone steal my money? Why I did not realise my wallet is empty? And after a few minutes, I just knew that I used TOOOO much money to buy this and that for the past 2weeks. I really need to think twice when I want to buy something to eat or what-so-ever.  And I am not going to let my wallet with no bank note(s) anymore. I dont like my wallet to be empty. It makes me feel unsafe. Who knows what will happen in the next few hours when I need to use money to do something. At least a 10euro bank note will make me 'lega'.

It was a day to remember, Chew Yi Lun!

Monday 6 December 2010

Snowboarding!!!

Today morning, I went to Hermeskeil with my host mum and host sister. And what we did at there? Snowboarding.. // My host sister and me want to learn snowboarding. After we rent 2 snowboard, we tried at somewhere near the car park where there is snow. After that, we went a little bit higher, and did as the others did(snowboarding and skiing). At first, its very difficult.(even until now), but its more and more ok. I felt down many n times, and luckily my ass still alive. haha. Although very tired, but it was worth and cool. To me, its cooler and yeng-er than skiing. Really! Next week, we are going again, and this time, we gonna take a course and learn from a teacher. I cant wait it because its really FUN!!!

Saturday 4 December 2010

Dear Stephan

Dear Stephan, I hope you reply my e-mail as soon as possible, because I am eager to make the trip to Bremen, Hamburg and Kiel. It will be a huge dissapointment for me if I dont get the chance to make a trip to this 3 city. Although it will be quite cold in these northern city, but I still wana go as I have never been to the Nothern part of Germany.

Tomorrow I will have an AFS outing in Trier. Its a visit to Trier Christmas Market. (honestly, I went to there once I have free periods) Its just among student exchange and our contact person. I hope my coatact person manage to go as it will probably the last chance that we meet. But if she is placed in Indonesia next year, then I will visit her next year not sure gok.. xD

Thursday 2 December 2010

hehehe //

I am going to another German PROFESSIONAL football league match again. // but this time it is not in Allianz Areana, but in Kaiserlautan. Costed cheaper than the tickets for a bayern match. It costed 35€ for Kaiserlautan match and a match for bayern costed 60€, almost twice the price. And today, I put all my thing in a box. Host dad is going to Thailand for business trip and he said he can help to post for me from Thailand. So I packed the thing that I want him to help me post since Monday. It only weigh 8kg now. I think I am going to buy some beers/alcohol to make it 15kg(as he said he can bring 15kg for me). //

Tuesday 30 November 2010

Dedicated to Aw Kong Seng

First time I met you, was in 2004 maybe earlier, but I am quite sure we met for the first time in primary school when you and others band members came to primary school and practised together with us, but do we have any conversation? I can't remember it. 2005, I joined band in secondary school, you are the assistant band leader of the year. I can't remember our conversation, but I can still remember when we played basketball together, when you teach me in band, when you told me jokes, when we played in toilet we did not bath in toilet actually, but at 6pipes near the field in front of the sport store. 2005 remained the best year and the hardest year in my band-life, because we really fight for every single thing.

2005 band life:
2005, Keat Hwa and Asma both lost in Kedah state level competition, and those seniors said, sir Tang count on us for the National Competition, so we had 10days band camp with sir Tang. It was the hardest and the most tiring band camp I had in my band-life. Without that 10days band camp, I dont think Swadaya will be as stong as today. That 10days raised our standard, from 8th place or maybe worse in National Level Competition to 4th placed. That year was the final year that competition was held for 2days.(semi final and final) And it was the first time that Swadaya managed to be in the Top 6 in final. At that time, to qualify to the final was as happy as we won the national level in 2008. Together with you, I learned many things about band and life. Without you in 2005, we would not be as good as that day(competition days). I still remember I keep on asking you from where these band member came from, and you told me 1by1 where do they from. We were also rewarded by sir Tang to genting for performance in genting. Although our standard was way behind our standard today, but it still remained one of the best performances, because it was the first international performance for Swadaya!

2006:
It was a few days before state lvl competition, and we did a video recorded full show. Asmara, our last song, I walked the wrong formation and you were behind me. I tought you would scold me very badly because I walked a bullshit(it should be page 5 but I walked page 6.something like that. I missed a page). but what you told me was,: 'I tried to walk wrong too, to create at least a shape to cover your mistake, but I did my best dy, yet it's still a mistake'. I was stun and explained everything to you, and what you told me was:'It's ok, dont repeat it next time can d'.

You are one of the best senior I had. We even called you trumpet God as you are the Pro-est. I think, nobody in our band have this type of nick name(the best). You really deserved it, at least the best trumpeter in Swadaya. You always denied it, because you think everyone can do the same as you too. I remeber you said to me, 'every drills and songs are simple, because basics remains clear in my mind'.

The last time I chat with you in Msn, was I asked you where do you study and at which school. I said I wana boom your school, but you said no fear, come arh. I said I wana meet you during CNY, but we do not meet as I forget. I wana fight with you like I did with cc, and I think he wants to do so. But we dont have the chance now....... =( I think this are all that I still remember. And I wana say,

Aw Kong Seng, thank you for everything and sorry for my nothing to you.... I miss you very much!!!

Ter-forget

I forget to post about the football story, haha. In Germany, I join a football club in my village. It took about 1month to get the liscense to play in a match, and I get it last 2 week. And today, its match day for me. I can't wait until 2pm and to go to Schweis(where we played). It was indeed an experience for me as I did not play in a football match before(just watch it). At first, it was pretty good. I expect that I would not be the first eleven, and would start as substitude when the score is on our side. But it went the other way round. The score was on the opponent side. When the match end, the score is 4-1. Our opponent won the game. I have the chance to play, but just for only 5 minutes.-.-!! and guess what, I was told by the coach after the game that it was the last game as we head to the winter break and he dont know when will the season start again.WTF!!! After such a long wait and high expectation,I only played for 5minutes, and it was the first match for me and the last match for me as while(as I thought there will be a couples of matches in the following week before the christmas holiday). But what can I do, live goes on,and I have to accept it. This post make up the title A Mixed Feeling on the last post. And, I wana thank Fionna Wee at here for wishing me although it wasnt as good as I thought. Thank you!!! and I miss you too.

A Mixed Feeling

Yesterday evening I went to Klement's birthday party. It was very fun and very cool. We did many funny things. I did not drink so much as I have a football match the next evening(will tell about the football story later). And guess what, only the girls are drunk. Normally, the boys are drunk, but I dont know why yesterday party was the other way round. The party end quite early, about 9 or 10pm, music was off and nobody dance, just chat. Than at about 1 or 2am, a few people and me went out from the house to have some fresh air. And guess what, it snowing quite heavily. And we played on the main street near the 'party house' as there was no car. I did a snow angel.// quite yeng right, haha. Oh ya, during the party, a few people and me played Trinkspiel, a type of drink game in type of dice. We need to roll the dice and follow the instructions base on what it is written. I think this game, you cant play it in Malaysia. Sure nobody want to play it unless me.I think its very funny. Hahaha. I slept at 4am, and woke up at 7am. Take a bus and back home.It was the coooolest and funniest party I had in Germany until now. Next party, Marie birthday party on 2nd of January. But I can't make it as I will be in Austria to learn snowboarding(yiiihaaa). But I think there will still be a Perpisahan Party for me .=D

Marie: Tut mir sehr leid. Ich möchte sehr gerne nach dein Party, wie du möchtest gerne für mich zu dein Party. Aber ich bin in Osterriech für Snowboarding. Wir machen Spaß wann Abschied Party ok? haha =D Sorry!!!

I dont know how to take the Text Background Colour off..Argghhh!!

Chocolate*yum yum*

My host mum just came back from supermarket and as always, she sure bought some chocolate and of course,I get some too. I really love chocolate very much, especially German products. Milka and Ritter Sport. Anyone can help me to go to Supermarket and see whether I can buy it in Malaysia? Its stupid when you bring something back to Malaysia but you still can buy it in Malaysia. My host mum bought me Ritter Sport today,Olympia type  (with yogurt, honey, nuts and Grape sugar??).I dont know why its called Olympia. I plan to eat it after I dont cough anymore, but it attract me too much.At last,I beh tahan and eat it. Dont care so much la, haha. Chocolates dont last long in our house. They are the first products to be finished after they are bought. Sometimes.

Ritter Sport

This is what I had finished eaten today morning

These are Milka, but my favourite chocolate in Germany is...

This is the best among all.. Hmmm(saliva running)

SNOW!!!

Actually I saw snow before. In Italy 2007 and on my first day in Germany. But this is something quite special. I don't know whether it's the first snow in my village or not(maybe snow at night), but its the first time that I saw snow in my village. Quite happy to see first snow of the season although the snow is very fine. Hahaha. I took some pictures, but cant see it as it is too small and too little in quantity, but I took a video and can see it.Today evening I am going to an overnight birthday party of a classmate of mine, but still coughing badly  even worse when I woke up today. Hope it's going to be better as I don't want to cough during the whole evening. Today is a free day for me. No need to go to school as it is Eltern Sprech Tag(Parents Information Day), but I need to start to write the Mercator report as I need to send in on 10th of December. Quite lazy actually because need to think so much. =(

OMG!!!

I am coughing quite badly now. 'Cough', leave me pleasssee!!! You can come back and find me on 17th of January. But for now, I really don't have time to sick. Pleasssseee!!! >.<

Scandinavian

I went to a presentation about Scandinavian yesterdayy evening at a house in my village. Its like an activity house for this village. Scandinavian is a region in northern Europe that includes Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland. The presentation was in a power point form. Many pictures, and also someone explained about the places of the pictures. Those places are very beautiful and interesting to me. Very green(nature) and very blue(sea and river). But, the pictures, I think they were taken very very long ago. Because the people inside those pictures wore very old fesyen clothes, like 19th century clothes. And also, I am the youngest inside the house. -.-!! Most of them are about 70 or 80 years old. Only a  just married couple, Stephan(a saxophone player in my host sister band and a friend of mine) and me are the only so-called young generation. But overall, the presentation was fine, and I learn something about Scandinavian. =D

Hey People (Part II)

OK, wrote about the house interview yesterday, and i gonna continue with it. The house interview was intresting. The family has 4 daughters, and one of their daughter go to the same class as me, should say I go to the same class as her. She is going to Canada for student exchange in next year January. Her family wana host a girl whose mother tongue is English. I said that, people from Malaysia can speak good English, not as perfect as people from USA or England, but we speak very often English. We learn English from 9 years old and our Maths and all Science subjects all taught in English too, so our English are consider good (I feel very proud to be a Malaysian at that moment //).

Most of the people in Malaysia are not proud to be a Malaysian. I am was one of them too, but now, I SIBEK SIBEK PROUD to be a Malaysian. What is so special and good about Malaysia? I have a lot of reasons:

  • Malaysia is a country rich of culture.( Malay, Chinese, Indian and other minority races in Sabah and Sarawak) We celebrate Chinese New Year and other races' festivals together. Although in Germany, there are also a lot of Turkish people, but they do not celebrate their Muslim festivals together with the Germans. They come to Germany, and live like a German. But in Malaysia, we live like we used to. We live with our tradition, and we do not have only 1 tradition, but many traditions. This is what made Malaysia.
  • Because of the multicultural in Malaysia, we have many choices. One of the example is the food. As an example, breakfast in Germany is langweilig(boring) because its always the same. But in Malaysia, we have different type of food to choose. And also, Germans do not go to restaurant as often as we did, because its expensive and they do not have so many choices as we have.
  • Malaysia have a lot of festivals, and because of this, we have a lot of holidays. The festivals also represent Malaysia. Its not a Malay festivals or a Chinese festivals, but its Malaysia's festivals. If its only Malay or Chinese festival, then only the Chinese or Malay have holiday.
  • As we all know, we are more tradition then the Chinese in China. Some traditions or festival, we still celebrate or practise. But the Chinese in China do not did it anymore. Know why? Because the China experienced Chinese Cultural Revolution. But we did not.
  • We are able to speak Chinese and understand what the Chinese people in China speak, but they can't understand completely our Chinese as we mix it with our dialect, Malay and English. Although our English is not as perfect as the English, but it's better than many other country.
  • Malaysian pay less tax than the Germans. In Germany, the taxes are very high, so many high income people like Michael Schumacher prefer to live in Switzerland because of the low taxes in Switzerland.
I still have some reasons actually, but I can't remember it now. Will tell more when I back to Malaysia.Oh ya, Alina, du hast zwei lustig und süß Schwestern. =)

Tuesday 23 November 2010

Hey People

I don't know why, but suddenly, I feel I wana create a blog. Maybe i regret that I do not write a diary during my stay in Germany =(. My pogramm is going to end soon. I feel sad to leave Germany, but at the same time, I feel happy too because I can meet my friends and my family, eat the food that I miss a lot, and also, go back to the nice weather in Malaysia. I just came back from a house interview from a classmate of mine. She and her family wana host someone as a host kid in their family, and I was bring along to did some advertisment about Malaysia and the people from Malaysia too =D. Wana know what did i say and what is good about Malaysia? I am going to post it tomorrow as I am quite tired now, and wana hear some story of Detroit from my host dad.

                                                                                                                                         To be countinue...
